Falafel is a little brown ball of pure sweetness, despite a past that has left him looking like he's lived a thousand lives. This young pup has a crooked body and muscle wasting, but his spirit is anything but diminished. He's a complete sweetheart who greets the world with sleepy tail thumps.

Training & Support

Falafel is not house-trained. We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions to any resident dogs, allowing him time to decompress after arriving in your home.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).

Transportation

Falafel is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Visitors are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis daily from 12pm to 7pm. If you plan to adopt the same day, please arrive before 5:30pm.
