Lucy

Lucy is a calm, cool, and collected girl who is eager to please. She came to us as a stray in May and, sadly, no one came looking for her. Her foster family believes she is potty trained and that she had a loving home at some point. Lucy is looking for a guardian who can provide calm, steady boundaries and lots of opportunities for cuddles on the couch. She seems to do well with other dogs, but we always recommend a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has tested heartworm positive and requires a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can undergo treatment. The shelter will cover all costs associated with her treatment and will provide ongoing support. It is crucial that she begins treatment as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

Training & Support

Lucy is eager to please and will benefit from a guardian who can put her "giant brain to work." She appears to be potty trained.
