Rocky

Rocky is a sweet and playful adult English Bulldog who was found as a stray on Easter Sunday. He's a total cuddlebug who loves belly rubs! Rocky has been through quite a bit, arriving with a severe cherry eye and swelling on his back paw. Thanks to the wonderful care he received, he's had surgeries to repair his eye and improve his breathing, along with a neuter and a toe amputation. He's now ready to find his forever home!

Ideal Home

Rocky needs an experienced owner who understands the needs of English Bulldogs. He would do best in an adult-only home as he is not a fan of other dogs and needs to be the only pet. Due to his brachycephalic breed characteristics, a home experienced with these types of dogs is preferred. An adopter must always use a harness instead of a collar attached to a leash to prevent tracheal collapse.

Ongoing Health

Rocky has undergone several procedures to address his health concerns, including cherry eye repair, airway modification, neutering, and a toe amputation due to a low-grade mass cell tumor.

Training & Support

Rocky is currently beginning professional training and will need continued support to ensure he thrives. He is not good with other dogs and needs to be the sole pet in the home.
