Meet Hambone! This handsome 2-year-old Beagle mix is looking for a special person—or couple—to call his own. Hambone is a loving, sweet boy who is incredibly smart and would make a wonderful, loyal companion. He loves going on walkies, playing fetch with sticks, and spending time with his favorite people. Just don't expect him to enjoy any water adventures—he's definitely not a fan! If you're looking for a devoted companion who will be your loyal best friend, Hambone might just be your guy.

Ideal Home

Hambone needs to be the only animal in the home and is looking for a home without children. A quiet household with a single adopter or perhaps a couple with little traffic would be ideal for him. He would love having his people all to himself.

Ongoing Health

Hambone is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines.

Training & Support

Hambone is house trained, crate trained, and easy on leash.

Hambone is located at the Humane Society of Warren County in Front Royal, VA. We are open 10 am - 4 pm Thursday-Tuesday, and closed on Wednesdays.
