Leila (Reduced Rover)

Leila is a beautiful, loving, and truly incredible 5-year-old, 70-pound Dutch Shepherd mix who has been waiting patiently for her forever home. Despite being overlooked, she still greets everyone with hope and affection. Leila has a medium energy level, is well-mannered, house and crate trained, and enjoys nothing more than cuddling with her loved ones. She has a perfect blend of playfulness and peacefulness, ready to bring laughter and comfort into your life.

Leila would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet, receiving all the love and attention she deserves.

Ongoing Health

Leila's adoption fee covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and any necessary heartworm treatment. She is kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Leila is house and crate trained.

Transportation

Take Paws Rescue is based in New Orleans and saves dogs from shelters and owner surrenders across the South. All animals live in foster homes.
