Meet Ransom, a charming 1.5-year-old, 60-pound Lab mix who's ready to steal your heart! Ransom has a gentle soul, a zest for play, and a past that makes him even more deserving of a loving forever home. He's been with our rescue family since he was a tiny pup, having been brought in with his mom and littermates. We watched him grow into the wonderful dog he is today. Although he experienced a loving home for over a year, life circumstances led to his return to rescue. It was a challenging transition for Ransom, and he was understandably timid at first. However, as he's begun to feel safe and secure again, the sweet, affectionate boy we know and love has truly begun to shine. Once Ransom feels he's in a safe space, his loyalty and affection know no bounds. Fetch is his absolute favorite game – he could happily chase a ball for hours! He also relishes outdoor adventures, exploring the yard, and basking in the sun.

Ideal Home

Ransom is looking for stability and a family to call his own again. With a little patience as he settles in, he'll reward his new family with endless love, loyalty, and plenty of games of fetch.

Training & Support

Ransom is potty trained, though he may have an accident or two during the first few days as he adjusts to a new routine. He is also crate trained and knows basic commands like sit and shake, providing a great foundation for his new family.
