Monte- COME MEET

Monte is a shy, sweet boy who loves to be with people. He is part of a litter of five "M" puppies (Margo, Maui, Maple, Monte, and Miller). At almost 5 months old, Monte weighs about 20-25 pounds, and we believe he's a mix of lab, shepherd, or border collie. Monte and his siblings had a rough start but are full of puppy energy and curiosity. They love to play together and soak up attention. Monte is joyful and fun-loving, always eager to explore his surroundings. He's friendly, socialized with people, and comfortable living indoors or outdoors. He's good with other dogs and, at his young age, may do well with resident cats.

Ideal Home

Monte would thrive with families who have plenty of time, love, and patience to give. He's looking for a home where he can be active, included, and truly part of the family. He would do best with children 5 and older.

Ongoing Health

All puppies are up to date on their shots, dewormed, and spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Monte is still working on crate training and house training and pulls on the leash, but with patience and consistency, he'll get there. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
