Bullfrog

Bullfrog is a truly unique canine companion, more like a big, furry cat than your typical dog. He's a gentle soul who appreciates his personal space and needs a patient adopter who understands his independent spirit. Bullfrog arrived as a stray and spent eight months with another shelter before coming to us, hoping a change of scenery would help him find his forever family.

Ideal Home

Bullfrog would thrive in a calm environment with a laid-back dog companion. He's not the dog for someone seeking a hiking buddy, a constant snuggler, or a wrestling partner. He needs an adopter who respects his need for space and understands his unique personality.

Ongoing Health

Bullfrog has some ongoing health considerations. He had 8 teeth extracted due to being in rough shape, and he has a degenerative condition in his neck. It’s important to avoid touching his neck.

Training & Support

Bullfrog is excellent at communicating his needs and moods. He's happy to join in when he wants human company and content to relax on his bed when he prefers solitude. He does well in playgroups with other dogs.

Transporation

Bullfrog is located at our shelter. We are open for visits any day of the week, 365 days a year, between 9 am and 12 pm.
