Tux Fancy Pants

Meet Tux Fancy Pants, the world's most dashing gentleman in a built-in tuxedo! With his shiny black coat, floppy ears, and a smile that could melt a glacier, Tux is a handsome, goofy, and incredibly sweet Lab/Pitty mix who is about a year and a half old. He's a walking ray of sunshine and a total snuggle bug, happiest when he's close to his people, receiving cuddles, belly rubs, and compliments. You'll often find him leaning against you or flopping onto his back, paws in the air, begging for tummy scratches.

Ideal Home

Tux would love a home with patient, loving humans who appreciate a little goofiness. He's hoping for a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy zoomies, as apartments are not his preferred environment. He would also be thrilled to have a chill, friendly canine buddy with good manners who enjoys playing and romping around the yard. He has also done well with dog-savvy cats who don't mind a gentle nose boop. Tux absolutely adores children and his sweet, patient, goofy personality makes him a hit with the little ones.

Training & Support

Tux is working on his leash skills and prefers open spaces over city sidewalks. He is potty trained and sleeps through the night. Once settled, he has excellent manners indoors.

Transporation

Tux is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
