Genesis

Genesis, a shepherd/terrier mix born in March 2022 and weighing approximately 40 lbs, is a sweet girl who is looking for a patient and understanding family. Genny needs gentle handling and time to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels secure, she will be a devoted and loyal companion. She is a low-energy dog who enjoys cuddling and staying close to her person. She's been known to jump for joy when her favorite humans wake up or come home! Genny's previous owner recently passed away, and she is now seeking someone special to create a new, lasting bond with.

Ideal Home

Genny would thrive in a calm, predictable home environment. She would do best with one or two adults and no other pets, as slow introductions are important for her to feel comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Genny is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Genny is already potty and doggy door trained. She doesn't require long walks and is content with rides. The most important support she needs is patience as she learns to trust her new family.
