Meet Roxy 💖

Roxy is a sweet soul who needed a little extra time to find her confidence. When she first arrived, she was understandably shy and unsure of her new surroundings. But with patience and a gentle approach, Roxy has started to blossom and show us her wonderful personality! She's very food-motivated, which has been a great help in her journey to trust humans. We're so proud of how far she's come; she now enjoys playtime and zoomies in the yard and has become quite talkative as she feels more secure. Roxy thrives in a calm environment where she can build connections at her own pace. While she's still learning about other dogs, thoughtful introductions have shown she can generally do well with them once she's comfortable. Roxy isn't a dog that rushes into things, but she's learning to trust and will reward you with affection and playfulness once she does.

Ideal Home

A quiet, patient home where Roxy can continue to build confidence at her own pace. As a Northern Breed, she has higher exercise, training, and care needs, so an adopter experienced with these breeds is recommended. Researching the breed is highly encouraged.

Training & Support

Roxy is learning to trust and gain confidence. Her food motivation is a great asset for continued training. She's doing well in her crate and is generally good with other dogs after a settling-in period.
