Hazel

Meet Hazel! This precious 1-2 year old pittie mix is a resilient survivor who was found as a stray, facing significant challenges. Thanks to the kindness of some amazing people, she has fully recovered and is now eagerly awaiting her forever home. Hazel is a deaf, energetic, and friendly girl who adores children and gets along well with other dogs. She's currently thriving in her foster home, diligently learning her manners, mastering potty training, and enjoying leash walks while receiving much-needed love and care. She's even a quick study of sign language, proving what a smart and adaptable pup she is! Hazel is ready for her happily ever after.

Ideal Home

Hazel would thrive in a home that can provide her with continued love and a stable environment. She loves kids and other dogs, so a home with a compatible canine companion and children would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is a survivor and has made a full recovery. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hazel is deaf, but she is an intelligent and fast learner. She is currently mastering potty training and leash walking, and is learning sign language. Continued positive reinforcement and consistent training will help her continue to thrive.

Transporation

Hazel is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We are happy to arrange local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
