Meet Ziggy, a handsome 2-year-old Lab mix who weighs about 50 pounds and is ready to find his forever family! He's neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and has a fun-loving personality that's sure to make you smile. Ziggy is outgoing, incredibly sweet, and loves nothing more than cuddling up with his people or playing with his favorite toys, especially if there's a game of fetch involved! Ziggy is an active boy with lots of energy to burn. He plays well with other dogs, although his play style can be vocal and a little rough at times, so he may need occasional redirection. He also tends to bark when first meeting other dogs, so continued, consistent training will help him build good habits. The good news is that he walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out for adventures. Around the house, Ziggy is crate trained and potty trained for up to six hours. He is crated whenever he's home alone rather than being left to free roam. He's also a great traveler in the car, has no trouble with stairs, and doesn't have any issues with resource guarding or food aggression, although he is fed separately. Like many curious pups, Ziggy has discovered that kitchen counters can sometimes hold exciting treasures, so he'll need a little supervision to keep his counter-surfing adventures in check! We don't have any history of Ziggy living with cats, so a home without feline expectations would be best unless introductions are handled carefully.
