Zukie

Zukie's pictures really do say it all! This 5-year-old, 12 lb Shih Tzu is a true gem. She came to us in January as an owner surrender, through no fault of her own. Her foster family raves about her, saying she's simply perfect! Zukie is house and crate trained, and she even walks beautifully on a leash. She's a loving lap dog who is a little shy at first but warms up quickly to reveal her sweet, gentle, and kind nature. Zukie is great with other dogs, but she definitely sees herself as an indoor princess! She's truly an amazing doggy with nothing but wonderful qualities to share.

Ideal Home

Zukie would love a home where she can be pampered as the indoor princess she is.

Ongoing Health

Zukie has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and is current on all age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and dewormer. She will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Training & Support

Zukie is house and crate trained, and leash trained. She's a fast learner and eager to please!

Transporation

Zukie is currently located in Texas. We do not adopt animals within Texas. Transport is available to the Central US and the East Coast, with scheduled trips every 2-3 weeks to locations including: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven, and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA. The adoption fee includes transport to these locations.
