Ellie - Catahoula

Ellie is a wonderful, beautiful, and very smart Catahoula mix, born mid-2015 and weighing around 90 pounds. She's a champion fetcher who will play until she's worn out, and then some! Ellie is deaf, but this has not stopped her from learning hand signals and commands like "sit" and "stay." She's received professional training and is crate-trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. Ellie would love an active home that enjoys long walks and endless games of fetch.

Ideal Home

Ellie gets along well with other dogs, but can be a handful around smaller dogs due to her size, which she doesn't quite realize! While she hasn't been around children, her temperament suggests she would be just fine.

Ongoing Health

Ellie is deaf and has received professional training to accommodate this.

Training & Support

Ellie knows several hand signals and commands like "sit" and "stay." She is working on consistently checking in. She enjoys her "place" when she has entertainment and loves to chew on her Kong toys.
