🐾 Meet Dahlia (“Dali”)

Dahlia, or "Dali" as she's affectionately known, is a sweet, shy female American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, just over 3 years old. Her DNA revealed a charming blend of Bulldog and Boxer, adding to her unique character. Rescued this year after a difficult start as a stray who was raising puppies, Dali can be timid when meeting new people. However, with a little patience and kindness, she blossoms into a goofy, affectionate, and loyal companion who simply craves love.

Ideal Home

Dali would thrive in a home that is quiet and low-stress. She needs a patient family willing to go slow while building trust, and ideally, someone experienced with shy or sensitive dogs. A friendly, confident dog sibling is preferred, and a fenced yard for zoomies would be wonderful. She is not a fan of being approached from behind while leashed.

Ongoing Health

Dali is spayed, fully vaccinated (through February), and microchipped.

Training & Support

Dali is house-trained and crate-trained, and she's also leash-trained. She has no reported food aggression or resource guarding. While she hasn't had formal obedience training, she is highly trainable with treats and is a "velcro dog" who loves being close to her person. She would benefit from continued socialization and confidence-building, such as with vet visits and exploring new environments.
