Maya

Maya is a 12/12, 64 lb sweetheart who is eager to find her forever home! She came to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her due to health issues. When Maya arrived, she had a large mammary tumor, was very anemic and required a blood transfusion, and was diagnosed with Tick Fever. The tumor has since been removed, and she is doing wonderfully!

Maya is incredibly devoted and will be your shadow. She’s a happy girl who loves meeting other dogs and shows no signs of aggression. She has excellent house manners and is content to be wherever you are. She also settles well in her kennel at night and is fine resting in a bedroom when you're away, always overjoyed by your return. Maya is a trooper and lets her foster mom tend to her incisions without any fuss. Her favorite thing in the world? Balls! She delights in watching pickleball games and is thrilled when a ball bounces into the yard. Maya is a loving girl looking for a special someone to call her own.

Ongoing Health

Maya's vet recommends retesting for cancer every 3 months for up to a year. Local adoption is advised due to potential future treatment costs.

Training & Support

Maya has good manners in the house and comes when called. She is cooperative with medical care.
