Meet Willow! This sweet, low-energy girl is around 4 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. Willow was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Houston, TX, where she was initially very shy. Her foster parent saw her potential and brought her into a loving home to help her build confidence.

Willow is a calm and gentle soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She absolutely loves treats and walks beautifully on a leash, though passing cars can still make her a little nervous – but she's making great progress! She's good with other dogs but prefers a peaceful environment and her own space. Once Willow feels comfortable, her affection is truly heartwarming. She'll greet you with a wagging tail, seek out pets, and happily roll over for belly rubs. She enjoys quiet companionship and will often stay close by your side without being demanding. Willow is already potty trained and signals when she needs to go out. She also crates well and settles herself for bedtime. Her favorite activities include chewing on bones, engaging with puzzle toys, and simply relaxing in a calm space. Willow is smart, easygoing, and has a tender heart. She's the kind of dog who brings a sense of peace to a home. While she had a challenging start, she's blossoming beautifully with patience and consistency.
