Bella is a sweet Pittie mix who came to us as a medical rescue from Texas. Estimated to be born in 2020 and weighing around 50lbs, not much is known about her life before she was found on the streets. After recovering in a foster home in Texas, she made her way to us and is now in a loving foster home in Poulsbo, WA. Bella is a smart girl who is working on her basic obedience, leash manners, and crate training. She's done well in playgroups with other dogs, but she can be a bit pushy, so a tolerant canine friend would be ideal.
Ideal Home
Bella would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children (13+) who can provide her with consistent training and structure. A securely fenced yard with a visible, physical fence (at least 4ft high) is a must, and it should be connected to the home, excluding driveway and car access. Electronic fences will not be approved.
Ongoing Health
Bella is a medical rescue, but no specific ongoing health conditions are mentioned in her listing. All RED animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Bella is currently working on her basic obedience, leash skills, and crate training. She can be pushy with other dogs and would benefit from a patient owner who can continue her training and provide clear guidance. A sturdy, high-quality crate (like Impact, Ruffland, or Skyline) is required for her safety, and wire or soft crates will not be accepted.
