Maggie Flowers is a 6-year-old pittie mix, weighing around 50lbs, who approaches life with boundless enthusiasm and a flair for the dramatic! Her foster mom calls her "Ray of Sunshine" because Maggie finds pure joy in everything, from a simple walk to chasing a toy, often breaking into a spontaneous "happy dance" in the grass. She's a fantastic fetch player and an even better swimmer, making her a perfect companion for outdoor adventures. Despite her energetic nature, Maggie also loves to cuddle and wants to be a true member of the family, included in all activities. She's an intelligent girl who knows commands like "sit," "down," "wait," and "go to your bed." She is also potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and waits patiently at open doors.
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard where she can explore and play. She would do best as the only dog in the home and is not a good fit for homes with cats due to her strong chase drive. While she loves people and can get excited when meeting new friends, some continued consistency and training will help her refine her greeting manners.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention. She is spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart and eager-to-please dog who already knows several commands. She is potty and crate trained and walks well on a leash. While she can get overly excited when meeting new people, consistent training will help her improve her greeting manners.
