This is Missy, an 8-year-old, 65-pound Plott Hound mix with a heart of gold! Missy found herself in our care due to a change in her previous living situation. While we don't know all the details of her past, it's clear she's had puppies before. Now, she's living her best life in a loving foster home and is ready to find her forever family. Missy can be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a few days to warm up, and her sweet, playful personality will shine through. She enjoys running and playing and has done well with other dogs, though slow introductions are always recommended. Missy is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and loves a good long walk. Don't let her age fool you – Missy has the energy of a much younger dog and many happy years ahead!
