About Molly

Meet Molly!

Molly is a 50lb, 1-year-old spayed lab mix who is the definition of a playful, sweet, and fun-loving companion. She's ready to steal your heart with her energetic yet gentle spirit. Molly loves to play, whether she's romping with other dogs or inviting her humans to join the fun. She's always ready for a good time, showing her enthusiasm with playful bounces and little affectionate nibbles to keep the games going. When it comes to people, she'll gently tap you with her paw or rest her paws on your hands to ask for attention, often rewarding you with sweet kisses. Molly has wonderful dog manners, happily greeting other dogs with a wagging tail and a curious sniff, and she's respectful when another dog lets her know they're done playing. She has enjoyed playing with dogs of all sizes. Molly walks nicely on leash and is building her confidence with new experiences; passing cars can sometimes startle her, but she's making great progress with gentle exposure and reassurance. She's fully house-trained and loves relaxing in her crate, but she doesn't need to be crated when you're away and is trustworthy when left loose in the house. Molly has shown no signs of resource guarding.

Ideal Home

Molly has a moderate energy level but kicks it into high gear for playtime. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog, or with an active adult or family with playful children who can meet her social and exercise needs. Molly has met children ages 5 and 9 and was comfortable around them. While she hasn't had much interaction with cats, she has remained calm and non-reactive when seeing one on a walk.

Ongoing Health

Molly is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Molly is house-trained and crate-trained. She is building confidence with new experiences, such as passing cars.
