Bandit

Bandit is a 12-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love, ready to find his forever family. He came into our care through the Safety Net Program after experiencing a recent life change. Bandit has spent the past several months in a loving foster home and is now looking for a permanent place to call his own, where he can be cherished through his golden years.

Bandit is a sweet and gentle soul who thrives on companionship. He's a true "Velcro dog," happiest when he's near his people, whether that's cuddling on the sofa, snuggling in bed, or enjoying the sunshine in the yard. He's described as a total character and love bug who enjoys exploring the yard and taking in the sights and sounds around him. Bandit was an absolute gentleman during a recent nail trim. He has made wonderful progress with his separation anxiety and now settles comfortably when left alone, without being destructive. He also uses pee pads when necessary.

Ideal Home

Bandit prefers a quiet home environment and is not a fan of leash walks. He would do best in a home with a secure yard where he can explore safely at his own pace. He enjoys stroller rides for outings and a home with minimal stairs would be ideal due to his age.

Ongoing Health

Bandit is a senior dog who appreciates comforts like ramps to help him access furniture. He eats soft food and has no food aggression.

Training & Support

Bandit has worked through his separation anxiety and does well when left alone. He enjoys cuddling on the bed and sleeps soundly through the night.
