Oh hello- I'm Emerson! I was rescued from a pretty rough situation where I was covered in ticks, underweight, and scared. I'm slowly gaining confidence and am the sweetest boy ever. I have no fight (unless food's involved) – all flight. My foster mama thinks I'm a Pyrenees mix as I have double dew claws; I am a big boy. My foster mama says whoever gets to add me to their family will be the luckiest family ever, so what do you say? I'd love to be part of your family!

Ideal Home

I do best eating meals in my kennel where I feel safe to do so, ensuring this food is mine and no one else's. I'm a little scared of other dogs initially, so slow intros are key, but I do warm up once I know they're not there to hurt me.

Ongoing Health

I arrived underweight and covered in ticks, but I'm recovering well.

Training & Support

I am a "flight" dog when scared, meaning I tend to run rather than fight. Slow introductions to new dogs are important for my comfort.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), deworming, and microchip implant (including registration).
• We are a foster-based rescue, so all adoptable animals are in a home. Meet-and-greets cannot happen until an application is submitted and approved. We cannot determine specific breeds, so any breed listed is a best guess.
