He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and came to us extremely shy, fearful, and unsure of the world, likely the result of a very troubled past. For months, he needed very patient, gentle fosters to help him feel safe. Because he was given that time, love, and consistency, Tommy has blossomed into the sweetest, calmest, most loyal companion. He is a slow-paced, easygoing guy who loves lounging on the porch, stretching in the sunshine, and lifting his face to sniff the breeze with a big, content smile.
