Benny

Benny is a sweet guy with a big personality packed into his 43 lbs frame! This Jack Russell mix, born around April 30, 2023, has a medium-high energy level, but don't let that fool you – he also loves to be a cuddly lap dog. He came to us as a stray or owner surrender, and he's ready to find his forever family. Benny is looking for an active home where he can truly thrive.

Ideal Home

Benny would do best in an active household and would prefer to not live with small animals. He's not suited for apartment living and requires a securely fenced yard.

Benny is a smart cookie and will likely pick up new things quickly. As with many rescues, it's a good idea to assume he may need some refreshers on potty training and house manners, though this isn't always the case.

• Applicants must be 21 years or older and reside within a 100-mile radius of our shelter (22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089).
• You must identify at least one animal you are interested in on your application.
• Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, but adopters are not selected on a first-come basis. Our priority is finding the best possible match for each pet and adopter.
• Please do not inquire about a specific animal's availability, as it can change rapidly.
• The fastest way to get a response is to submit a complete application. Every question must be answered and signed.
• We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available.
• New animals are posted daily, so if another furry friend catches your eye, there's no need to fill out a second application!
