Josie is a 41 lb bundle of sweetness and love, with an estimated birthday of October 26, 2023. This delightful Staffordshire Terrier mix is the perfect cuddle buddy, ready for any occasion! She enjoys playing with her toys, snuggling with her foster siblings, soaking up the sun, and is a big fan of chicken nuggets. Josie has been living with children in her foster home and does wonderfully with them.
She has seamlessly integrated into her foster family, proving to be house-trained and a pro on the leash. Josie already knows commands like "sit" and "stay," and with her treat-motivated personality, she's eager to learn more and be a wonderful part of your pack. She gets along great with other dogs, especially playful ones, and her favorite pastime is snuggling up on the couch for a nap. Josie also adores car rides and is an excellent companion for them!
Josie's journey began at the county shelter, where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She arrived as a neglect case, emaciated and clearly having had a difficult start. She has made incredible progress and is now ready to find her forever home, though she's still working on gaining a little more weight.

Transporation
Transportation is included in the adoption fee. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and can be across city, county, and/or state lines. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
