Hi there, I’m Mochi—and yes, I’ve been told I’m as big and lovable as they come.I'm a full-sized, super young goofball with puppy software still installed. I’ve got a big heart, and an even bigger enthusiasm for life. Everything is exciting to me, and I’m always ready to jump in paws-first and see what the day has in store. I was transferred here from the Atchison Animal shelter. My friends there described me as "the bee's knees", "sweet as honey", and with the squishiest face and goofiest personality ever to grace this world. They found that I was great in the car, and around other dogs, I was quite enthusiastic in my play style. Yes, I'm a "big boy", and some people are intimidated by my size. But there is no reason to be. I am the happiest, sweetest, most good-natured tail-wagging boy that just wants to be loved.
I’m still learning the ropes, but I’m off to a great start. I already know how to sit nicely for treats, which I’m pretty proud of, and I’m eager to learn whatever else you want to teach me. I’m a smart boy who really enjoys having direction, so with a little structure and consistency, I know I can grow into a truly outstanding companion. Give me a task, a routine, or even just a chance to make you proud, and I will give it my all.
One of my favorite things is getting out for walks. There’s just so much to see and sniff, and I love sharing that time with my person. I’m also a big fan of attention—honestly, the more the better. Pet me, talk to me, tell me I’m a good boy, and I will absolutely soak it all up with my whole goofy grin.
At the end of the day, though, I’m really just a giant love bug. I want to be close, to be part of your world, and to make you smile as often as possible. I'm so ready to give it to a family who will love me, guide me, and let me grow into the very best version of myself.
