Cheeto is an adorable, scruffy puppy who was born around August 1st, 2025. He currently weighs about 30 lbs and is expected to reach a healthy weight of 35 lbs or more when fully grown. He's a really sweet boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Cheeto can be a little on the shy side, especially when meeting new people, so he'll need a patient adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and come out of his shell. He absolutely loves to run and play with his canine buddies in the yard and has a soft spot for squeaky toys! He is also pretty well house-trained, reliably heading out to the yard to do his business during the day. Cheeto has successfully completed a two-week board and train program at Dog Gone Smart in Norwalk. He looks like a Border Terrier mix.
Ideal Home
Cheeto would thrive in a home with a fully fenced and secure yard, and he would love to have at least one canine companion to be his buddy and playmate.
Ongoing Health
All of our dogs, including Cheeto, are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and boosters, including Dhpp, Bordatella, Rabies, and Canine Influenza. They are also on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
Training & Support
Cheeto has undergone a board and train program, which has helped him with his house training. He will need continued patience and positive reinforcement as he adjusts to new people and environments.
