Meet Gary, a one-year-old Retriever/Pit mix weighing 45 pounds. Gary is a big goofball with an even bigger heart! This enthusiastic boy is full of personality and is guaranteed to make you laugh with his legendary zoomies, silly antics, and favorite pastime—tossing his toys into the air and chasing after them. He loves to play and absolutely soaks up attention from his people.
Ideal Home
Gary is looking for an adopter who enjoys training, understands that learning takes time, and wants to build a true partnership with their dog. He can be a little unsure and defensive when first meeting new dogs, but with slow introductions, reassurance, and patience, he settles in quickly and will likely enjoy having a dog companion. That said, he'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only pup.
Ongoing Health
Gary's adoption price has been donated in full! His adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations + deworming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets 3-4 months and older), and microchip with nationwide registration.
Training & Support
Gary is still learning how to interact with other dogs. He is eager to learn and will keep you smiling with his goofy personality every single day.
