I'm George! I'm a handsome Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd puppy with a friendly personality and a heart full of love. I originally came all the way from Texas, where I was found as a stray before making my journey north in search of my forever family. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was a little shy as I adjusted to my new surroundings. It didn't take long for my outgoing personality to shine through! Now I'm a curious, happy puppy who's always ready to see what adventure the day has in store. One of my favorite places to be is outside! I love exploring the yard, soaking up the fresh air, and watching the world go by. True to my guardian breed roots, I'm happy to let you know when people, animals, or anything interesting passes by. My alert barking isn't excessive, I'm simply observant, and it's one of the many traits that makes my breed so special. When I'm not exploring, you'll probably find me searching for the coziest spot in the house. Whether it's a fluffy dog bed, a soft blanket, or the couch snuggled up next to you.
Ideal Home
I'd thrive with a family that enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that's going for walks, hiking, camping, or simply relaxing in the backyard together. My Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd heritage means I'll do best with a family that can provide regular exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. Walks, puzzle toys, time outdoors, and learning new things will help me grow into the confident, well-rounded dog I'm meant to be. I'm also happy to report that I like friends, but could also do well as an only pet.

Training & Support
I'm learning all the important puppy skills and making great progress! I'm doing very well with potty training and can hold it overnight and for several hours during the day without accidents. I also do great with my kennel. Most of the time I'll head right in on my own (although I won't turn down a treat for a little extra motivation!), and once I'm settled, I'll quietly relax for quite a while. I'm also doing well on a leash and enjoy walking right by your side without much pulling.
