Meet Philip, a 50-pound Staffy mix with a talent for toy tossing and a heart full of love! Philip is a playful pup who adores his plushies, but his love for playtime is matched only by his affection for snuggle time, especially after a successful bath! He can be a bit shy initially, but he's gaining confidence daily and is working on his leash manners. While he might occasionally try to lead the walk, a little patience helps him get back on track.
Philip is a social butterfly with other dogs, getting along well with pups of all sizes. He's also a charmer with people, both men and women. He's learning that hands are for gentle pets, not scary gestures, and appreciates a home that understands his past experiences. Philip has a moderate to high energy level, needing daily exercise and mental stimulation through walks and puzzle toys. He's crate-trained and doesn't dig, but enjoys supervised play with his chew toys. He knows "sit" and is working on his impulse control when treats are involved.
