Meet Fish Trap Farm. Our farm is located in East Tennessee, where our Great Pyrenees actively guard a diverse livestock operation of 100+ chickens, ducks, geese, and KuneKune pigs. They are proven, working livestock guardians—calm, highly attentive, and naturally protective without unnecessary aggression. Our dogs come from strong, established lines known for diligence, independence, and sound temperament. We rely on them daily and are continually impressed by their instinctive ability to assess and respond to their environment while remaining steady and trustworthy around people and animals. Sybill and Bear were intentionally bred to strengthen our guardian program as we expand into sheep on our 123-acre farm. This pairing reflects the traits we prioritize: reliability, intelligence, and balanced temperament. From the very beginning, our puppies are raised in a hands-on farm environment and are thoughtfully socialized with poultry and young children. This early exposure helps develop confident, adaptable dogs that transition well into both working roles and family settings. Each puppy is sent home with up-to-date vaccination records, select health guarantees, and lifetime return-to-breeder support.
