Meet Gina - One of our "spot" dogs with a huge heart!

Gina's story began near the dump in Punta Mita, where she and another dog were abandoned and left in rough shape. A kind man tried his best to care for them, and on April 15th, we brought them safely into our care. Gina arrived malnourished, anemic, and battling ehrlichia, but those days are behind her now. She is healthy, steady, and showing us what a gentle, loving soul she truly is. Gina is a medium-energy, calm, and sweet girl who is wonderful with people and other dogs. She would be happy with or without another dog in the home. Gina is ready for a soft place to land and a family who will love her the way she deserves.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange for flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta to bring dogs to approved adopters in the US and Canada. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. Volunteers can assist with bringing dogs to adopters at the border during these times.
