About Dill

Meet Dill!

Dill is a charming pup who, much like the herb he's named after, can be a little reserved at first. He may be shy and nervous when meeting new people, but with a little patience and time, his true, delightful personality will blossom! Once he feels secure, Dill transforms into a loving companion who adores being close to his people. He's the quiet type who will happily keep you company, follow you around the house, and soak up all the affection you can offer. While Dill might start out a bit slow, remember that good things are worth waiting for, and this sweet boy is definitely one of them. He's just looking for a patient home that will give him the chance he deserves. Dill was born in May 2025 and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ideal Home

A patient home that will give Dill the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and confident.

Ongoing Health

Dill's health is up-to-date, and he will receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Dill is a bit shy with new people, so continued positive reinforcement and gentle introductions will help him thrive.

  • Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
  • The adoption fee for out-of-state adopters is $200, which includes vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter (for pets 6 months and older), a fecal analysis, and a heartworm test (if over 6 months old). All dogs will be current on flea and heartworm prevention.
  • The adoption interview/meet and greet will take place via video call.
  • Please note that adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; our priority is finding the best possible match for our animals.
