BRIGHTON

Brighton is a charming and resilient little guy, approximately 2 years old and weighing around 11 lbs. This sweet Maltese mix had a tough start, arriving at a local shelter with a shattered leg that sadly had to be amputated. But Brighton is a true survivor and has adapted wonderfully to life as a tripod! He gets around with impressive agility, easily hopping into cars and onto the couch. Nothing seems to slow this brave boy down. He's become his foster's best friend, following her everywhere, enjoying lap time, and sleeping soundly on her bed at night. Brighton is generally good with other dogs, though he's not overly playful with them, and he seems to coexist peacefully with cats, mostly ignoring them. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash. Brighton is looking for a home where he can receive plenty of love and TLC.

Ideal Home

A home where he can get lots of TLC. Brighton's adoptive family must have experience with dogs and cannot have children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Brighton has had an amputation due to a past injury.
