About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Meet Dahlia Daisy Flower, a delightful 10-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who's as sweet and delicate as her namesake flower. This 35-pound pup, with an expected adult weight of 40-45 pounds, is ready to blossom in a loving home! Dahlia is a joy to be around, showing off near-perfect leash skills (unless a squirrel makes a daring appearance!). She thrives on adventure, loving hikes and trips to the park where she makes friends with everyone she meets. Her love for dogs is truly heartwarming, and she gets along beautifully with the four other pups in her foster home. While initially shy with new people, she warms up quickly and is a loving companion. Dahlia is also a fantastic copilot, enjoying car rides and settling down comfortably. She's a good eater but takes her time, and we encourage separate feeding spaces in multi-dog homes.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would be happiest in a home with another playful dog, or with opportunities for regular doggy daycare visits if her people work outside the home. She could do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo as long as she receives plenty of exercise. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, we believe she'd do well with respectful children aged 8 and up who will play with her.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is a healthy pup who has been spayed and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house-trained, though she may cry in her crate initially when left alone before settling. This is something to consider for homes with shared walls. Establishing a nighttime crate routine will be important in her new home, though she eventually dreams of sharing the bed with her humans.
