Betty is a very shy girl who needs a patient and understanding home. She's a bit reserved at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet and loving companion. She enjoys quiet evenings and gentle pets.

Ideal Home

A calm and quiet environment where Betty can feel secure is ideal. She would do best in a home without young children or boisterous activity, as she startles easily.

Ongoing Health

Betty is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is spayed, and is heartworm negative. She receives regular flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, and dewormer. She is microchipped.

Training & Support

Betty is a shy girl who will need continued socialization and positive reinforcement to build her confidence. Patience and a gentle approach will go a long way in helping her feel comfortable and secure.

• If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed will be needed.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, please provide the vet and the name on the account.
• If you've never owned a pet or it's been over two years, a personal reference who knows you'll care for the pet is required.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Betty is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment.
