About Murphy

Murphy is a handsome 4-year-old, 85 lb Long-Haired German Shepherd with a heart as big as he is! He came to us after being found severely underweight on the streets, but now he's healthy, happy, and ready to find his perfect match. Murphy is incredibly smart, affectionate, loyal, and loves to learn. He's surprisingly calm for a shepherd, enjoys playtime, and is content to relax with his people. He has excellent manners around food and picks up new things incredibly fast. Murphy is friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy canine companionship. However, due to a strong prey drive, he cannot live with cats or other small animals.
