Tilda is a charming and enduring resident who has been with us longer than most of our staff. She even remembers our old facility! Tilda carries herself with a queen-of-the-castle energy, but beneath that exterior lies a loving heart that has been patiently waiting for a home of her own for a long time.

Due to her extended stay, Tilda's adoption journey is a bit unique. The shelter environment has become her safe haven, and new surroundings can initially be overwhelming. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who can provide her with the time, space, and quiet she needs to decompress and truly feel at home. Tilda isn't a social butterfly and thrives in a calm, predictable world with a small, trusted circle. Once she begins to trust, her goofy, quirky, and full of personality side emerges. You'll be delighted by her affectionate nudges and her pure joy when rolling in the snow or grass. Tilda is looking for someone willing to take a chance on a dog who may not shine immediately but will be incredibly rewarding when she blossoms.
