Samba Fifa The Golden Retriever Socialite

Samba is a 3-month-old, 14-pound fluffball with the heart of a Golden Retriever socialite! Based on her beautiful mama and her own charming demeanor, we believe she's a Golden Retriever mix, but as with all rescues, her exact breed is our best guess. Samba has been raised in a loving home environment, learning that life is full of joy and play. She's already a pro at using a doggy door, happily shares her toys and treats with her siblings, and possesses a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. Her foster family ensures she gets plenty of playtime, affection, and positive socialization. Samba adores her stuffed toys, especially her yellow duck, and greets everyone she meets with curiosity and respect. She's been socialized with a senior female Pitbull and a small terrier, showing inquisitive but gentle behavior. Samba is a treat lover but doesn't guard them, and her wiggly enthusiasm is balanced, never overwhelming for dogs, people, or children. She loves to play chase and tag with her canine companions. Her sweet mama, with her classic Golden Retriever temperament, has done a fantastic job teaching her puppies essential skills. Samba has been raised alongside a large German Shepherd and a 7-month-old baby, giving her an incredible foundation for family life. She's affectionate without being pushy, curious but not wild, and remarkably quiet for a puppy. She prefers cuddling, exploring the yard, or playing with a toy over barking for attention. Samba is bright, eager to please, and wonderfully receptive to guidance, making her training journey exciting and rewarding. She's not just looking for a home; she's looking for a lifelong family to grow up with, to greet at the door, follow into the kitchen, and share adventures with for years to come.

Ongoing Health

Samba is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Samba has already learned great manners, uses a doggy door, and is eager to please. She is receptive to guidance, making her training journey a positive experience.

Transporation

Samba is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport services for an additional $87 surcharge. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
