At only 4 years old, Valor is a testament to the resilience of the spirit. He was rescued from a situation of unimaginable cruelty, enduring experiences no animal should ever face. While his past is filled with pain, what truly defines Valor is his incredible capacity for love and his unwavering trust in people. He craves affection, wanting nothing more than to be held close, to curl up beside you, and to feel the safety and comfort he was once denied. Despite everything he's been through, Valor chooses connection and affection, leaning into every gentle touch as if it's his lifeline.

He is a quiet and obedient companion who doesn't mark in the house and settles into his kennel without complaint. Valor walks gently on a leash, always staying close to his person, and he's careful not to bolt out the door. He's deeply attuned to his human, constantly seeking their lead and longing for closeness. Valor enjoys toys and is still discovering the simple joys of being a dog, like learning to catch a ball. He has spent months in dedicated medical care and rehabilitation, learning what safety, trust, and comfort feel like.

Ideal Home

Valor needs to be the only pet in the home, as he cannot live with other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Valor has been fully vetted, is heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Valor is incredibly obedient and in tune with his person. He walks gently on a leash and is careful about doors. He is still learning some basic dog behaviors, like catching a ball.

Transporation

Our rescue is based in Houston, Texas, but we work with foster homes across multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
