Darla

Darla is a sweet 3-month-old shepherd mix with a short tan and black coat who is ready to fill your home with puppy snuggles and kisses! She's a survivor, being the only parvo survivor from her litter, and she's ready to bounce back and live her best life. Darla is a social butterfly who loves to cuddle on the couch, play with other dogs, and shower everyone with affection. She enjoys being hugged, giving kisses, and even loves playing in the water! She's a quiet girl who seldom barks and is always happy to offer her belly for a good scratch. Darla is house-trained, using a doggie door, though she may need a few reminders.

Ideal Home

Darla would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of love and attention. Due to her young age and safety considerations for both her and young children, we do not recommend adopting puppies to homes with children under 5 years old.

Ongoing Health

Darla is a parvo survivor. She has been vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas and ticks.

Training & Support

Darla is house-trained and uses a doggie door but may need a few gentle reminders. She is not crate trained.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adopters are responsible for spaying/neutering the puppy when of appropriate age. Please be aware of the financial obligation and obtain a quote from your vet.
• A deposit or prepaid receipt from your vet for spay/neuter will be required.
• All fees and deposits are considered donations and are non-refundable.

Transportation

Darla is located in Selah, WA. We can arrange transportation to meet you halfway with a rescue partner if driving to Selah is difficult. We can hold a dog for up to 5 days while transportation is arranged, after which a daily boarding fee applies.
