Alaska State

Alaska is a delightful 8-month-old pup, weighing around 36lbs, who we believe might be a Pitty/Lab mix, though with rescues, it's always a fun guessing game! What's certain is that she's absolutely adorable and desperately in need of a loving home. Puppies in her area are facing dire circumstances, and by choosing Alaska, you're not only saving her life but also opening up a spot for another pup in need.

Alaska is a bundle of joy – playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. She loves playtime with her siblings and cherishes her nap times. Her puppy days are filled with eating, sleeping, and playing, and she's eager to bring that same zest for life to her forever home. Ideal Home

Alaska is still very young and will thrive in a home that can commit to consistent training, socialization, and all the love and dedication that puppyhood requires. She is discovering the world and her personality is shaping with every new experience. A home that can provide routine, structure, clear boundaries, and proper socialization from the start will be ideal for her development.

Ongoing Health

Alaska is a healthy young pup. She will receive a DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also be given a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative and tested for heartworms. A microchip with free lifetime registration will be implanted. She will also come with a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.

Training & Support

Alaska will need a family committed to crate training from day one to help with potty training, energy management, and her overall development into a well-rounded adult dog. Her dedicated trainers on staff have been working with her on crate training, potty training, and leash walking to prepare her for her future family.

• Adoption fees help cover a portion of the extensive vetting and care each animal receives.
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transporation

Alaska is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This system ensures safe and comfortable travel for every pet with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up can be arranged in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
