Bear

Meet Bear! This handsome 90-pound boy is a Saint Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix who is currently almost 10 months old. We anticipate he will grow to be well over 100 pounds. Bear and his family faced hardship, leading them to surrender him to a local shelter. They loved him very much and made the difficult decision to ensure he had a safe place to go. Bear is a goofy and happy-go-lucky pup who just wants some love and affection.

Ideal Home

Bear needs plenty of fenced-in space to run and play; apartment living is not suitable for him. Due to his tendency to get mouthy/nippy when excited, he cannot be placed in a home with small children. It is unknown how he will do with cats or other dogs, though a meet-and-greet with resident dogs is required. Bear is a strong boy, so an owner who can handle his strength is a must.

Ongoing Health

Bear is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Bear can become mouthy/nippy when excited, and we highly recommend professional basic obedience training to help him learn to walk nicely on a leash and improve his manners. Due to his size and strength, we do not recommend walking him on a harness.
