Bright-eyed, playful, and just the right amount of silly, Yuki is a perfectly petite, adorable, wiggly bundle of joy. At 9 months old and expected to be around 35-45 lbs full grown, Yuki is a stunning mix of what we guess might be pittie, lab, and terrier. She’s mostly white with a single gray freckle on her ear, a soft gray nose, and light greenish eyes. More than just a pretty face, she’s affectionate, adaptable, and already showing herself to be a lovely companion. Watching Yuki in motion on video truly showcases her vibrant personality!
Yuki has proven to be incredibly adaptable, initially living in a high-rise apartment and now thriving in a home with young children, other dogs, and a backyard. She's confident and easygoing, happiest when she's with her people. She's also been respectful of a senior cat, displaying a nice balance of curiosity and good manners.
Ideal Home
Yuki thrives in an active home that can provide her with continued training and structure. She has enjoyed living with young children, other dogs, and has been respectful of cats.
Ongoing Health
Yuki was born missing a hip socket, which gives her a unique little hop and a sideways strut. This doesn't slow her down, and she runs and plays with total joy. Staying active helps support her. She also has retinal dysplasia in both eyes, a congenital condition affecting how she processes light. She can see and lives a full, happy life, but may appreciate some assistance in low light or with depth perception.
Training & Support
Yuki is a smart girl who has made quick progress with potty training and crate training. She's eager to learn, and with consistency and routine, she will continue to shine. She walks nicely on leash, rides calmly in the car, and enjoys her toys. She’s a professional snuggler who loves to curl up close with people and dogs alike.

Transporation
Yuki is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
