Kai

Meet Kai! He's a handsome 5-year-old Husky mix, estimated to weigh around 70lbs when fully grown. Kai is a gentle soul with the softest heart, looking for a loving family to call his own. While he might be a little reserved at first, he blossoms into an incredibly sweet and affectionate companion once he trusts you. He melts for ear scratches and belly rubs, and truly enjoys quiet time with his favorite humans. Kai is an intelligent and thoughtful boy who enjoys exploring the world at his own pace. He's independent but always appreciates a little reassurance from his people.

Ideal Home

Kai would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the attention. He has lived with children as young as a few months old and done well.

Ongoing Health

Kai has an autoimmune eye condition called pannus. This is easily managed with daily eye drops and does not slow him down. He still enjoys life to the fullest and is ready for all sorts of adventures!

Training & Support

Kai knows cues such as Sit, Down, Come, Wait, and Stay. He has done well in the kennels at Trails Home Farm.
