Raksha

Raksha is a playful, loving 9-month-old pup who absolutely lives for adventure! She came to our rescue at just 10 weeks old with her brother, who has since found his forever home, but this sweet girl is still waiting. Whether it’s chasing the water hose, hiking a trail, or romping around with doggy friends, Raksha is always up for fun. She gets along great with most dogs, and while she can be a little unsure around some female dogs at first, a shared walk usually does the trick to break the ice. Raksha is smart, treat-motivated, and eager to please, showing great off-leash recall. She’s also a total cuddlebug who will happily snuggle up with you after a day of play.

Ideal Home

Raksha would do best in a home without cats.

Training & Support

Raksha has shown some resource guarding with food, so continued positive reinforcement training and structure around mealtimes will help her thrive.
