Hazel

Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile! I love to have fun and cuddle with my people. I’m house and crate trained and get so excited for walks, though I can pull hard because I’m strong, so I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners. I’m good with other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats yet, but I can be cat-tested if you'd like. I have a lot of energy and enjoy playing with balls, but I also like to relax and nap in my own space. Because of my size, any children in the home would need to be older than 10. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long and prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home or my people.

Ideal Home

I need an owner who can handle a strong, large dog and is committed to teaching me manners. Children in the home must be over 10 years old. I prefer to be inside with my people and don't like being outdoors for extended periods.

Ongoing Health

I have some digestive issues and require a special diet of lamb and rice.

Training & Support

I need to be crated when unsupervised due to a tendency to chew on things.
