Hi there! My name is Caramel, but some of my favorite people call me Caramella! I'm a Labrador Retriever mix with a Black Mouth Cur heritage, and I'm currently weighing in at a petite 11.9lbs. My estimated birthday is April 8, 2026, which makes me a playful little puppy!

I'll admit, I can be a bit shy when I first meet new faces, and new experiences can be a little overwhelming. But with a little patience, some kind words, and a few gentle scratches, you'll see my true, delightful personality shine through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention. Belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and being told how adorable I am? Yes, please! I have so much love to give and am eager to share it with my forever family. Like any puppy, my days are filled with fun. I love carrying my toys around, tumbling and playing with my brother, investigating everything interesting I find, and then taking a well-deserved nap after all that hard work. I'm also a smart cookie! I'm doing wonderfully with crate training and often head into my crate on my own when it's time for a snooze or bedtime. I'm working on my potty manners too and am becoming a big girl, mostly using my puppy pads. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me build my confidence and show me all the amazing things life has to offer. Transportation
I am located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee! We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. Please note: pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby towns or states.
